SPOKANE, Wash. — The Kendall Yards Night Market returns Wednesday night.
Visitors can shop from local vendors and grab a bite to eat from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Wednesday through the summer.
Soon enough, a new market is hoping to host markets year-round. The Scale House Market will open later this month in Spokane Valley. It will have an indoor space that’s open all year and an outdoor area that will be open May through October.
The inside features hundreds of feet of murals from local artist Michael Che Romero.
“This mural is called ‘Connection’. These are my grandfather’s hands. He was a farmer, he worked with his hands,” Romero explained.
Dozens of vendors are set to open their booths at the grand opening on May 31.
