CHENEY, Wash. — School drop-off will look a little different at Cheney Middle School on Monday due to city construction, according to the school.
On May 12, the CMS bus loop will be closed for morning drop-off due to the City of Cheney’s Purple Pipe Project, a water reuse project.
Between 7 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. on Monday, school buses will use the designated parent drop-off area along the east side of the school.
There will be no access to the parent drop-off area via Parkway Dr. All vehicles must use Betz Road to enter and exit the parent drop-off.
Afternoon pick-up will not be affected.
See below for more morning drop-off details:
Enter the school parking lot from Betz Road using the northwest entrance.
Follow the black arrows to proceed through the only available drop-off loop.
The green X’s on the south side of the parking lot marks the only available student drop-off zone. Please drop off your student(s) near this area.
Stop only long enough to safely drop off your student(s).
After drop-off, proceed to the northeast exit on Betz Road.
Staff will be present to assist and direct traffic. Please plan for potential delays and drive carefully.
