CONNELL, Wash. — An inmate at the Coyote Ridge Corrections Center in Connell was killed in custody.
According to the Department of Corrections, 41-year-old Justus Cyr was assaulted in his cell early Tuesday.
DOC says the alleged attacker was taken into custody and put into restrictive housing. His identity will be released once charges are filed.
The DOC and Connell Police Department are investigating.
