SPOKANE, Wash. — Pink flamingos are popping up all over the Inland Northwest—even landing on the front lawn of KXLY—as part of a lighthearted campaign with a meaningful mission.
The Flamingo Flock Fundraiser supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest (RMHC INW), an organization that provides vital services to families with children undergoing medical treatment.
Here’s how it works: community members can “flock” a friend by arranging for a group of pink flamingo lawn ornaments to appear in their yard. To remove the flamingos—and keep the fun going—recipients make a donation, which helps fund housing, meals, transportation, and emotional support for families in need.
The fundraiser runs through April 27.
To get involved or make a donation, visit the RMHC INW website or call 509-624-0500.
