CHENEY, Wash. — Police arrested a man for armed robbery in Cheney on Monday evening, according to Cheney Police Department.
Around 6:30 p.m. on April 21, CPD set up a search perimeter for an armed robbery suspect near 1st Street and Cheney Spokane Road.
Police asked the public to avoid the area during the search. CPD said officers were looking for a suspect described as a white man, roughly 5′ 8″ tall with a shaved head.
Less than an hour after the search began, CPD said the suspect was in custody. They did not provide any details about the suspect or the initially reported crime.
