AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — Typically, kids can’t drive until they get their license at 16 years old. But for the younger ones that have a need for speed, Spokane Kart Racing Association might be the place to turn.
SKRA hosts the Kid Kart Academy where 5 to 7-year-old kids can decide if they want to pursue the sport of kart racing. For parents, it’s an easy way for your child to test-drive a sport without the full investment.
Enrolling in the Kid Kart Academy gets the young speedster a chance to race in five races, hit the track for unlimited practices and the ability to rent a kart.
SKRA has two separate sessions. For more information on the academy, click here.
