COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Museum of North Idaho is ready to show off its new home and you’re invited!
The MONI is hosting a grand opening event with free admission Friday, April 18.
The event will have book signings, live performances, and more.
The museum is now located in the historic J.C. White House in Coeur d’Alene. The house was relocated to the foot of Tubbs Hill near McEuen Park.
While checking out the museum, you can see art by local artists and learn more about Idaho’s rich history.
“We want to talk about those industries that helped get us here,” said MONI Development Director Annette Nolting. “You know, the railroads, lumber, steamboats, mining, all different pieces that made Coeur d’Alene, North Idaho, what it is today.”
Tomorrow’s grand opening ceremony begins at 11 a.m. but the fun doesn’t stop there.
Saturday, the MONI will host an Easter event including egg hunt, face painting, and more.
