OTHELLO, Wash. — An Othello man was arrested in a suspected DUI crash Tuesday night.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, 27-year-old Jose Luis Jimenez-Faris of Othello crashed his car into a power pole on South Thacker Road around 9:30 p.m.
The car then came to a stop on the nearby railroad tracks.
The Sheriff’s Office says Jimenez-Faris showed signs of impairment at the crash.
Jimenez-Faris and other passengers in the car were taken to the hospital for medical evaluation and treatment.
The sheriff’s office said because of the passenger injuries and suspected impairment, Jimenez-Faris was booked into jail on suspicion of vehicular assault.
