SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Deputies arrested a man for driving drunk near Dishman Hills High School early Sunday morning, according to Spokane Valley Police Department.
Around 2:30 a.m. on April 13, a SVPD deputy noticed a car speeding east on Appleway Boulevard in Spokane Valley.
According to the deputy, the car was driving between 40 – 47 mph in a 35 mph zone and drifting side-to-side in its lane. The car also crossed over the white lane divider at least once.
The deputy pulled the car over near Appleway Boulevard and University Road.
The deputy said the driver of the car, 37-year-old Oscar R. Titla Flores, had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and a strong smell of alcohol.
A breath test showed Titla Flores’ Blood Alcohol Level to be .146/.149 and .147/.152. The legal limit for drivers in Washington is 0.08.
Titla Flores was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail for DUE and driving without a valid driver’s license.
