CHENEY, Wash. – Former Eastern Washington Eagle men’s basketball guard Nic McClain has a new home: the Belmont Bruins.
The Florida native returns closer to home after 30 games played, 10.6 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game and 3.8 assists per game for the Eags this season.
He joins a Belmont team that finished 22-11, 13-7 in the Missouri Valley Conference, finishing fourth behind Drake, Bradley and Northern Iowa.
McClain’s family has history with the Bruins, as his older brother Kevin was Belmont’s point guard from 2015-2019. He earned first-team All-OVC and Belmont’s last NCAA Tournament appearance in his senior 2019 season.
