SPOKANE County, Wash. — If you’re looking for a way to help your community and make a difference, Spokane County Search and Rescue team might be a good option to explore.
On April 19, Spokane County Search and Rescue (SAR) Team will host an info session for those interested in learning more and possibly volunteering.
The SAR Team is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization that operates under the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and helps organize and manage search and rescue operations for people who go missing.
The event will be a great way to meet the team and learn about special training and equipment and how the team works together to help save lives.
The April 19 meeting will take place at 5.11 Tactical, 4808 E. Sprague Avenue from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
