VALLEY, Wash. — Highway 231 remains closed in both directions Monday after a crash brought down telephone lines across the highway near Valley.
The accident occurred at approximately 2:54 a.m. near Valley at milepost 72, according to transportation officials.
Transportation officials expect the closure to remain in effect until approximately 7 p.m. Monday evening, creating significant delays for commuters and travelers in the area.
