SPOKANE ARENA – The Spokane Chiefs are sleeping well after this one.
The Chiefs and the Victoria Royals took things to a fifth period before Spokane’s Rasmus Ekström scored the game-winning goal with 9:25 left to play in the second overtime period.
Andrew Cristall, Cameron Parr and Sam Oremba each logged goals against the Royals.
The second round of the 2025 WHL Playoffs continues Monday at 7:05 in the Spokane Arena. Spokane leads the series 1-0.
