SPOKANE, Wash. — Tax Day is next week! If you or a loved one are confused about your forms this year, you can get free help in Spokane County.
The AARP Tax-Aide Foundation is helping folks like you get ready.
On Saturday, certified tax guides were helping people get filed at the Moran Prairie Library.
“There’s no income limit. You don’t have to be an AARP member, but come and get your taxes done for free,” said tax preparer Jerry Van Hook.
With Tax Day on Tuesday the 15th, the last day to take advantage of this program is Monday, April 14.
If you want free filing, you’ll have to bring some forms including your 2024 return, a valid picture ID, a Social Security card or ITN for each taxpayer, all income statements, and any 10-95 forms.
AARP Tax-Aide will be at the Spokane Valley Library on 22 N. Herald Rd. Walk-ins are welcome on a limited basis from 4p.m. to 7 p.m.
