SPOKANE, Wash. – The Vancouver Canadians’ comeback would prove too much for the Spokane Indians, and they fell 8-4 to Vancouver to even the week-long series one game a-piece.
Jared Thomas, Aiden Longwell and Cole Messina all had two hits, contributing to nine team hits, which trailed behind Vancouver’s 12. The Canadians overcame 15 struck out batters compared to the Indians’ seven.
Spokane drops to 2-3 on the season, and they will have another chance tomorrow night at 6:35 p.m. to take a series lead and even their season record.
