SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — A new scam is circling around social media about Section 8 and Housing Choice Vouchers.
Spokane Housing Authority (SHA) says these scams contain fake links that will try and get your banking information or money with the promise of adding you to a housing voucher waitlist.
SHA says it will never ask for this kind of information to be added to its waitlist.
