COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d’Alene City Council approved a $16 million bond initiative for the May 20, 2025, ballot to fund repairs to outdated facilities and update emergency medical and fire service equipment. The bond aims to address current needs and prepare for the future.

The bond is expected to carry an interest rate of 3.12% annually, with a total repayment of $19.4 million over 10 years. The average annual cost to taxpayers will be $16.07 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value.
An open house will be held April 9 at Station No. 2 on Ramsey Road.
