KANSAS CITY, MO — Former Washington State Cougar quarterback Gardner Minshew has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to reports.
Minshew was released by the Las Vegas Raiders this week having played nine games last season before his season ended with a collar bone injury.
Minshew is now heading to the three-time defending AFC champions who are currently led by future Hall of Famer Patrick Mahomes.
Minshew is likely to serve as the primary backup.
The Chiefs will be Minshew’s fifth NFL team.
