SPOKANE, Wash. — Grab a hammer, roll up your sleeves and get ready for Habitat for Humanity Spokane’s ‘Women Build 2025’.
Kicking off on March 19, volunteers will gather to help build safe and stable homes for modest-income families in Spokane County.
“Supporting Women Build celebrates our predecessors’ work in fighting for gender equality. It also reminds us that persistence remains our most powerful tool when advocating for a future worthy of our sisters, daughters and granddaughters,” said Michelle Girardot, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Spokane.
This year’s event will build the finals homes in Deer Parks’ Hope Meadows development, a community of Habitat for Humanity-built homes that has provided homeownership to over 70 families.
The build will take place from March 19 through March 22. The Kick-Off Celebration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at 1129 S. Margaret St.
