COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — UPDATE, March 12, 2025 12:51 p.m.
Coeur d’Alene Police say a trooper with Idaho State Police spotted Sandra near the Idaho and Washington border on March 5.
At the time, she was wearing a red winter coat and a black top hat. She had two Dachshund dogs with her.
Police say Sandra was trying to get to Spokane at that time.

Coeur d’Alene Police are looking for a 59-year-old woman with mental health and medical issues that hasn’t been seen since March 4.
According to police, Sandra D. Banks was last seen at her apartment by her roommate but has not been seen since.
Police say Sandra has mental health and medical conditions that require her to take medication. When she left her apartment, she did not take her cell phone and has likely not had her medications since March 4.
