KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. — One person is dead and a Spokane Valley man is facing charges for negligent driving from a crash on Interstate 90 in Kittitas County.
According to Washington State Patrol, cars were driving east on I-90 near Cle Elum around 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
Traffic in the area was slowed for debris in the left lane.
59-year-old Igor A. Grudovik from Spokane Valley did not slow down and crashed with two other cars.
The driver of one of the cars, 70-year-old Gary L. Hartig from Lewiston, Idaho, died at the hospital.
Grudovik is facing charges for negligent driving. According to WSP, drugs and alcohol were not factors in this crash.
WSP says the driver of the other car and the passenger in Hartig’s car were not injured.
