FORD, Wash. — A 17-year-old juvenile escaped custody and is on the run north of Spokane.
According to Spokane Tribal Police, the teen escaped corrections Wednesday night by swimming across Tshimakain Creek in Ford about an hour north of Spokane.
Police believe he may be in the area of Martha Boardman near Samuel’s Road.
Multiple law enforcement agencies and helicopters are searching the area.
Police are telling people to lock their doors and vehicles and call 911 if you anything.
