MOSES LAKE, Wash. — North Elementary will extend its current closure into next week.
According to an alert sent by Moses Lake School District on Thursday, North Elementary School will remain closed on Monday, March 10, due to a water issue.
The school has been closed since March 5 so the Grant County Health District could inspect the water system. Originally, the school said it would reopen on Monday.
MLSD said instructional materials will be available to pick up on March 10 during the following times:
9:30-10:30 a.m.
12:30-1:30 p.m.
4:30-5:30 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch meals for North students will be available for pickup in front of the school between 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
If students have medications at the school that need to be taken home, parents can contact the school nurse at 509-793-7576.
The district will continue to monitor the situation and send updates as needed.
