SEATTLE, Wash. – After 10 years, the Tyler Lockett era has come to an end in Seattle.
The Seahawks released the All-Pro wide receiver today after arriving to the Emerald City in 2015 as a third-round draft pick.
Lockett recorded four-straight 1,000-yard seasons (2019-22) and second in franchise receptions (661), receiving yards (8,594) and receiving touchdowns (61). Only Steve Largent is ahead of him in those categories.
Lockett is not expected to retire, and ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter mentioned a potential reunion with former Seattle coach Pete Carroll who just took the Las Vegas Raiders opening.
