Mark your calendars! Pi Day is next week and Birdie’s Pie Shop is already preparing!
Friday, March 14 is Pi Day, the annual celebration of the mathematical concept, Pi, a number that begins with ‘3.14.”
In honor of the special day, beloved INW vendor, Birdie’s Pie Shop, will be selling their pies for $3.14 all day Friday.
This year, Birdie’s Pie Shop said they are “going BIG” with twenty different sweet pies available on Pi Day.
The long list of available flavors include classics like Apple, key lime and lemon cream, and some nontraditional flavors like creme brulee, ‘PB & Jealous’ and strawberry limeade.
Gluten-free options will also be available.
All three Birdie’s locations will participate: Hayden, Post Falls and Spokane.
Preorders aren’t available for Pi Day, but the stores will have multiple pay stations set up to help the lines move quickly.
