WENATCHEE, Wash. — The ceiling of one of the oldest theaters in Washington collapsed Tuesday evening during a showing of Captain America: Brave New World.
According to the Wenatchee Valley Firefighters, the ceiling of Liberty Cinema on South Mission Street collapsed around 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Two people were inside the theater when the collapse happened. No one was hurt.
Liberty Cinemas announced on its website that it will be closed until further notice.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
