COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is investigating an incident where a woman was seen being dragged out of a public town hall while Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris watches on and films.

The ruckus occurred Saturday at a public forum held by the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee at Coeur d’Alene High School.
In the video, a woman, who KCRCC says was being disruptive, was grabbed by two men and forcibly dragged from her seat. Kootenai Sheriff Bob Norris is seen filming the incident on his phone and not intervening, despite the woman’s pleas for help.
The woman has been identified as Dr. Teresa Borrenpohl.
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office says the two men involved are not deputies with the KCSO. The two men seen work for a private security firm.
