There are multiple closures along SR-27 due to water and mud on Sunday morning, according to WSDOT East.
As of 11:40 a.m., SR-27 has the follow closures:
SR-27 North of Oaksdale for water over the roadwaySR-27 in both directions at milepost 64 near Fairfield for water over the roadwaySR-27 near mile post 61.5 near Sanders Road, near Fairfield for mudslide SR-27 at milepost 40 near Fairfield and at Hume Road near Oakesdale for water over the roadway
About a 40-minute drive south of Oakesdale there is also flooding in Pullman. The city of Pullman is providing sand bags to help control the flooding. They are available to pick up at Pullman Public Works, 825 NW. Guy Street.
SR-21 north of Wilbur is also closed due to a mudslide.
Drivers should exercise caution and not try to drive over impassable water and mud.
