SPOKANE, Wash. — Babies and families recovering from addiction at local nonprofit, Maddie’s Place, got a big surprise this week!
Mark Peterson and the 4 News Now Extreme Team revealed the newly renovated Maddie’s Place kitchen on Wednesday.
The team worked for three days to update kitchen appliances like the walk-in refrigerator, dishwashers and stove, complete with new aprons for the families to wear while cooking!
Maddie’s Place is a recovery nursery dedicated to helping babies born addicted to drugs and their parents.
Generous donations from Swanson Refrigeration, Rodda Paint, Mountain States Electrical, Ferguson Kitchen and Bath, and Stoneway Electric Supply. are making this project possible.
Dundee Concrete and Landscaping also pitched in, clearing the snow from the parking lot.
