KAMLOOPS, B.C. – A win against the Kamloops Blazers on the road allows the Spokane Chiefs to become the second WHL team so far this season to earn a spot in the playoffs.
The Chiefs beat the Blazers 4-2, Monday afternoon.
Spokane is third in the Western Conference and second in the U.S. Division, with a 37-16-1-1 record and 76 points. Three Chiefs players are in the top-ten of all WHL scorers: Andrew Cristall in first, Berkly Catton in third and Shea Van Olm in eighth.
The Chiefs have 13 games left in the regular season before playoffs begin March 29.
Next time out: Back in the Spokane Arena on Friday, February 21 at 7:05 P.M. against the Tri City Americans.
