SPOKANE, Wash. — A judge has sentenced a Spokane Valley man to a quarter of a century behind bars for producing child pornography.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, 31-year-old Nicholas Thieschafer was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison Thursday for producing child sex abuse material.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says a minor victim reported Thieschafer had abused them and used his phone to take photos.
Law enforcement searched his home and found 3,300 of videos and photos of child sex abuse material including more than 800 files of the victim.
Thieschafer will spend 25 years in prison plus a lifetime of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $63,000 in restitution to victims.
