SPOKANE, Wash. — More charges were filed Thursday against the Spokane County man accused of sex trafficking and raping an underage girl.
32-year-old William Morse first appeared in Court on February 12. He was accused of answering a post on Craigslist, in which two teen girls advertised babysitting services.
According to court documents, Morse solicited sex acts in exchange for money, sent graphic text messages and raped one of the teens at home home while her parents were gone.
On Thursday, additional charges were brought against him for targeting another underage girl advertising babysitting on Craigslist. He is accused of asking for sex in exchange for money, but did not meet up with the girl.
The court commissioner said even more cases of Morse’s predatory behavior are being investigated.

Hailey Richter works for Save One, a nonprofit dedicated to sexual exploitation prevention eduction. She said it’s important to have honest communication and to talk to your kids about online safety.
“The youth are really vulnerable to exploitation,” she said. “A lot of predators use the fear that ‘you’re going to get in trouble,’ so it’s important to have those conversations ahead of time, to take away that tactic from predators.”
Richter said it’s important for kids and teens to know the signs for when something might be an unsafe situation.
“Do some fact-checking, talk to a trusted adult about it. Look for certain red flags, and keep in mind that if they are encouraging secrecy or isolation,” she said.
Another sign to look for is if someone overwhelms you with personal questions, even after you stop responding to their messages.
