SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department (SPD) is seeking the public’s help in locating a robbery suspect involved in an stabbing on February 10, 2025.
Police responded to a report of a robbery at a business in the 1700 block of West Francis Avenue just before 1 p.m.
According to SPD, when a store employee confronted a male suspect on suspicion of theft, the suspect stabbed the employee before fleeing the scene on foot.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
SPD said the suspect is described as a white male, likely in his late teens to early twenties, wearing a black sweatshirt and carrying a black backpack. Authorities have released a photograph of the suspect.
