SPOKANE, Wash. — A large SWAT team is surrounding a house in North Spokane on Monday night.
Around 7:30 p.m. on January 27, multiple police and SWAT vehicles surrounded a house near Sanson Avenue and Perry Street in North Spokane.
According to SPD, SWAT was searching for 25-year-old Glen Dylan Burkey, the suspect in a shooting that killed 13-year-old Gavin Looper.

A 4 News Now crew at the scene said multiple officers ran over the fence and entered the house with their rifles drawn around 8 p.m.
Neighbors told 4 news Now SWAT told them to stay inside their homes.
