SPOKANE, Wash. — The Community Colleges of Spokane is now Spokane Colleges.
The organization announced its rebrand at the Greater Spokane Incorporated State of Education event.
Spokane Colleges said the Board of Trustees led an 18-month research strategy to develop this new brand strategy. Over 1,300 people participated in surveys and focus groups to help develop this new branding.
“We knew we needed a fresh, modern look, and a more cohesive and clear identity,” said Dr. Kevin Brockbank, Spokane Colleges Chancellor. “Our brand unites both colleges and the district under one visual and cultural identity, while maintaining and enhancing the identity of both Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College. The rebrand isn’t just a new logo and mascot makeover. Our brand strengthens our purpose and helps to ensure that everyone in our community knows exactly who we are and what we stand for.”
Spokane Colleges says it will continue to roll out the new branding through an 18-month campaign.
