SPOKANE, Wash. — A 36-year-old man found dead in his jail cell after making a court appearance died of natural causes.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner ruled Bryce Larson died of sudden cardiac death with hypertrophy secondary to hypertensive cardiovascular disease.
Larson had been in custody facing charges for assaulting his parents.
While in custody, Larson was accused of threatening to have a corrections deputy killed.
On November 8, 2024, Larson appeared in court for a status hearing and his trial date was set for December.
Less than two hours after his status hearing, Larson was found dead in his cell.
