OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — A man died in a crash on Highway 97 in Okanogan County on Friday morning.
According to Washington State Patrol, a pickup truck was driving southbound on Highway 97 just north of Pateros around 4:15 a.m. Friday.
The truck the crossed over the center line and crashed into two cars heading the other direction.
The driver of one of the cars, 43-year-old Alberto Martinez Flores from Brewster, Mexico was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup and the other car were not injured.
WSP said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
