HAYDEN, Idaho — If you need in-person services from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, you’ll now be heading to Hayden instead of Coeur d’Alene.
KCSO has moved multiple divisions from their old facility on Government Way in Coeur d’Alene to the former Kootenai Electric Building in Hayden.
Sheriff Bob Norris says the department has been renovating the new building over the past year to accommodate the community’s growth.
The divisions at the new location include patrol, detectives, records, civil and recreation safety.
The sheriff’s office says the transition will occur over the next couple days and civil and record services will still be available at Government Way in the meantime.
The new location is at 2451 Dakota Avenue in Hayden.
