SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department has released the names of the four officers that shot at and killed a man in Spokane’s Garland District last month.

According to SPD, Officer Matthew Stewart, Officer Daniel Valencia, Officer Garth Craigen, and Officer Will Mitchell all fired their weapons at ultimately killing 29-year-old Joshua Musselman.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner said Musselman died of multiple gunshots.
The incident occurred December 29 on W. Cora Avenue. Police had responded to reports of a man armed with a rifle firing shots from an apartment.
The shooting remains under investigation.
