SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Highway 2 was shut down at Wood Road for a serious injury crash Wednesday morning.
Washington State Patrol says the crash was between a car and semi-truck.
An adult and two teens were in the car. All three were taken to an area hospital. The adult and one teen have life-threatening injuries and are in critical condition. Another teen is in stable condition.
Right now, WSP says it appears the driver of the car did not stop at a stop sign and became wedged under the semi.
Highway 2 was closed since around 7 a.m. and reopened around 12:15 p.m.
