SANDPOINT, Idaho — Schweitzer Mountain Resort announced a long-time pass holder died from a snowboarding accident in Outback Bowl recently.
The resort posted on Facebook, saying “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and friends of the victim during this incredibly difficult time.”
The name of the deceased and the date the accident happened has not yet been released.
Schweitzer says while it processes this tragedy, it encourages everyone to remain vigilant and look out for one another when on the mountain.
