SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Spokane County providers are getting ready for the 13th annual Spokane Homeless Connect later this month.
Spokane Homeless Connect helps provide people experiencing homelessness easy access to community resources all in one place. There will be resources for housing, career, legal, veterinary services and more.
The event takes place on Thursday, January 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Spokane Convention and Expo Center.
This year’s event also marks the beginning of Spokane Connect, a new nonprofit that merges Spokane Homeless Connect and Spokane Valley Connect into one entity. Event officials say this will mean if you donate to one event, you donate to both and allows organizers to access more funding opportunities.
