AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — Detectives serving a search warrant in Airway Heights are investigating a potential explosive device.
According to Airway Heights police, officers were assisting Stevens County detectives in the search warrant at an apartment on 6th Avenue near Ketchum Drive.
Detectives discovered what looked like an improvised explosive device at the home.
The Spokane County Explosive Device Unit has responded to the scene.
The apartment complex has been evacuated.
