BONNER COUNTY, Idaho — A man was arrested Tuesday afternoon for the fatal crash that killed a 5-year-old girl north of Sandpoint.
According to Idaho State Police, 61-year-old Rick Gross, of Moyie Springs, is accused of driving the Dodge Ram pickup that attempted to pass several vehicles and struck a Ford Edge on Nov. 22, on Highway 95
According to Idaho State Police, arrest warrant has been served for Rick Gross, 61, of Moyie Springs, following a fatal crash on Nov. 22, on Highway 95.
Gross is accused of driving a Dodge Ram pickup that attempted to pass several vehicles and struck a Ford Edge, resulting in the death of 5-year-old Amelia Carrollo.
Gross was arrested and booked into Bonner County Jail on charges including aggravated reckless driving, vehicular manslaughter, and drug possession.
The arrest was made through a joint effort by several local agencies and the U.S. Marshals Task Force.

Idaho State Police continue to investigate the crash and are seeking additional information or video footage from the public, particularly from traffic traveling on Highway 95 between mileposts 505 and 489 from 6:45 to 8:35 a.m. on Nov. 22.
