SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Bear Lake Regional Park is now partially open for limited winter access.
Spokane County said the park’s upper-east and lower-east gravel parking lots will be open for the winter with walk-in access only beyond those points.
The park’s new fishing pier will be open during the winter, but it is pedestrian access only.
The park’s west shore and bathrooms will be closed through the winter.
Bear Lake will fully reopen in the spring, and contractors will then come out to finalize the remaining renovation projects at the park.
Spokane County said the Department of Natural Resources will be working on fuel reduction work at the park throughout winter.
