SPOKANE, Wash. — A plane crashed at Felts Fields Monday afternoon, according to Spokane Fire Department.
SFD has confirmed no one was injured.
The writing on the side of the plane pictured in a photo from the crash, shared online by the Spokane Fire Department, which has since been taken down, matches writing on the side of a plane in a photo 4 News Now found on the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) website.
In the photo on the AOPA website, the plane appears to be that of Robert Delaurentis, a former U.S. Navy officer, well-known for having completed a pole-to-pole flight.
No information as to who was inside the plane during Monday’s crash has been released.
This is a developing story.
