GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — A 12-year-old boy is in custody after being arrested for driving a stolen car in Grant County, according to Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
According to GCSO, the boy, who had stolen his grandfather’s vehicle in Issaquah, was believed to be headed toward Grant County, possibly with ties to Moses Lake.
Deputies located the car on Lowry Street in the Larson Community around 10:20 a.m. and attempted a pursuit.
According to GCSO, the chase ended safely when a deputy used a PIT maneuver near Randolph Road and State Route 17.
The boy was taken into custody and is facing charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and felony eluding.
There were no injuries, and vehicle damage was minimal.
