SPOKANE, Wash. — Fans of horror fiction can rejoice as a new immersive experience, “REDRUM: A Stephen King Pop-Up Series,” opens its doors this weekend in downtown Spokane.
The pop-up invites visitors to enjoy a themed atmosphere filled with food, drinks, and decor inspired by some of King’s most iconic novels.
Attendees can indulge in a range of cocktails and mocktails, each creatively named after characters from King’s works, including Georgie from “It.” Additionally, the pop-up features photo opportunities inspired by cult classics such as “The Shining.”
Presented by Servante, a new venue that hosts multiple immersive experiences throughout the year, this pop-up promises a unique and engaging environment.
Co-owner Kris Kilduff described the space as one that encourages excitement saying, “If you’re wanting to come and hang out somewhere downtown, you can throw a rock and hit a million spots. This space is more cultivated toward creating an atmosphere and giving you some fun things to talk about.”
Servante has partnered with Spokane’s year-round creeptown, Petunia & Loomis, to enhance the decor and ambiance. Local DJs have also been brought in to contribute to the experience.
The pop-up is located at 221 North Division Street, right next to Fast Eddie’s. It will be open through Saturday, with doors opening at 5 p.m. each day. Admission is $10, and guests must be 21 or older. Costumes are encouraged, adding to the festive, spooky vibe of the event.
