PULLMAN, Wash – A student at Washington State University said she was attacked on campus last week and may have been sexually assaulted.
WSU Police received a report Sunday reporting an assault from the previous Monday, October 21st.
Police say a student was in the parking lot across from Beasley Coliseum around 8 pm when someone came up behind her and choked her, causing her to lose consciousness.
She woke up in the same spot and said she believes she may have been sexually assaulted.
The student did not see her attacker so no description is available.
WSU Police want anyone with information to call them at 509-335-8548.
Police are increasing patrols on campus in response to this report.
