SPOKANE, Wash – Spokane Police say a man who barricaded himself in a car with a gun and shut down I-90 Wednesday is the same man accused of a fatal stabbing last night in East Central Spokane.
Law enforcement officers shut down the freeway in both directions near the Four Lakes exit Wednesday morning.
They say a man was in a vehicle that had been reported stolen. He was parked on the side of the freeway, saying he had a gun and refusing to come out.
Police finally got him out of the car and under arrest around 9 am.
Spokane Police confirm it’s the man accused in a fatal stabbing in a home near 3rd and Thor Tuesday afternoon.
Spokane Police have not yet released the man’s name.
